The Canadian Overseas Academy (COA) is a Primary School that offers a Montessori programme in the early years through grade 1, and an international programme based on the Ontario Canada core curriculum through the remaining primary years. It is our objective to become an IB World School for the PYP Programme. We are located in St. Thomas Parish, Nevis.

We have been able to design, build, and launch our interactive website in record time.
It’s our wish that all other loose ends associated with running a school coalesce quickly so that we can get to the business of educating students!
We’ll be making the requisite equipment purchasing run into Canada with the objective of ensuring that we have state of the art technology, equipment and infrastructure on hand in Nevis for the beginning of the school year.
And … since our site is officially launched now (although it is just version alpha) don’t hesitate to let your friends and family know, and to have them register and drop us a line letting us know how we can work together with schools, students, and teachers around the world!

Plans are actively underway to not only upgrade the COA website but to provide prospective parents with more information about the curriculum, learning philosophies, activties, and academic calendar.
Things have been exceedingly busy and hectic over the last few weeks but you can rest assured we’re on the case and you will have all the information you need (and hopefully more) in the very near future.
